Quote of the Day

My daughter, while trying to pull a key out of a coil on a keychain, to her grandfather:

“Grampa, I need help.”

“You can do it!”

Tries again without success.

“Grampa, I need help.”

“You can do it! Try again.”

“No, I need help.”

“But I’m encouraging you.”

“I don’t want encouragement. I want help.”

At two years old, the girl knows what she wants.

LM and AMM – Thanks! It totally cracked me up. My dad couldn’t get over the fact that she used the word encouragement.

TJ – If pointed in the right direction, hopefully so . . .

H – I’m so glad you stopped by. The new Russo book is excellent; I just haven’t had a ton of time to read. I’m enjoying Bonhoeffer, but I think I will like the Cost of Discipleship better.
