Little Conversations

Although she’s a risk-taking, crazy-climbing, silly-silly-silly little girl, my daughter has a really sensitive side as well:

“Oh, choc milk! I’m so happy to see you.” (choc=milk, chocolate or otherwise)
Milk falls on the floor.
“Oh, choc milk! You fell down.”
Gets down and picks up cup. Pats it.
“Choc milk? You okay? I take care of you.”

  1. Hey there, I just wanted to tell you that I am pregnant! I didnt have your email address, so I had to go to your website to tell you. Will you tell the rest of the small group in Ft. Worth? Hope you are all doing well. We miss yall.

  2. Too cute. Zachary does this with his matchbox cars. He’ll crash them into each other then proceed with this dialog (doing both voices, of course): “Hey! You hit me!” “Oh I’m sorry. Are you okay?” “Yes. I’m okay. I forgive you.” Then the cars kiss. 🙂

    A – 🙂
BR – CONGRATS! I’m so excited for you guys. I’ll send you an email, as well as the rest of the group.

T – I love that he does both voices!

H – He does, that rascally choc milk!

H – To your point, this morning, Choc Milk evidently had to go to time out. I’m still not totally sure why, but he sure had to sit in the corner for a while!

  5. I laughed so hard when I read this, because my son did the same thing when he was about your daughter’s age. He stomped on an ant, and then stooped down real close to it, and tried to nurture it back with encouraging talk.

T – I know. I just don’t know what we’re going to do with that Choc Milk.
C – Glad to give you a laugh, and that’s so funny (and sweet!) about the ant.
